I’ve had a passion for cooking for as long as I can remember. Cooking to me is therapy, and I find great joy in serving great food to my friends and family.
After 30 plus years in the insurance business, I decided to make the leap and pursue this passion. With the support of my husband, I launched Gold Rush Gourmet Personal Chef Service. I am a graduate of the Culinary Business Academy and a Premiere Member of the USPCA. It’s a win-win for my clients and me. I get to do what I love, and you get to spend more time with your family around the dinner table instead of eating frozen pizza and take out food.
My self-taught skills span more than 35 years. I read cookbooks like others read novels, and I’ve attended many cooking classes and look forward to attending many more.
